The environment in which an individual is educated and works should be free from harassment, bullying and discrimination. The objective of the Anti-Bullying Workshop is to introduce the concepts of harassment, bullying, discrimination prevention and intervention training. It will include the social patterns of bullying and discrimination, harassment, including those acts based on but not limited to race, color, weight, national origin, ethnic group, religion, religious practice, disability, sexual orientation, gender or sex through hands on thought provoking, group and individual activities.

All activities and tools will offer insight and application into bullying behaviors, harassment, discrimination in all aspects of school and work culture.
Participants will have a clear understanding about the difference between a conflict and a bullying situation. In addition individuals exposed to the workshop will learn about bullying, cyber-bullying, harassment and discrimination as well as indicators, early warning signs, prevention and reporting procedures. The tools given throughout the workshop will be done through a variety of activities including but not limited to group, videos, real life experiences and examples. All information presented will be used in an effort to sensitize participants to the experiences of specific populations and emphasize how the school and work climate and culture have an impact on student achievement and behavior as well as an employee’s achievement and behavior.
