For every minute you remain angry you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind. – – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Anger is abnormal. Anger will destroy you. Anger is one letter away from danger. You need to control your anger! Do any of these statements bring on more frustration and anger? I believe they would, because on the contrary anger is completely NORMAL. It is something that every single one of us encounter each and every day. Anger is a normal, healthy emotion that if taught the correct tools can help an individual deal with their emotions and anger in a healthy conductive manner. Unfortunately, this normal, healthy emotion can quickly become unhealthy and detrimental if an individual cannot understand and control the emotion.

For many of us anger can be an incredibly damaging force, costing individuals their jobs, personal relationships, and even their lives when it gets out of hand. Amazingly enough this very same damaging force is completely normal and something that every person deals with throughout their daily life. Because everyone experiences anger and because it is a normal part of our emotional life, it is important to have constructive approaches to manage it effectively. By engaging in our Anger/Stress Management Workshop participants will be given tools on how to identify their anger triggers, understand how to manage those triggers, and how to work through using those triggers to know what to do when they get angry.
By engaging in this type of workshop participants will acquire an understanding of anger and the natural anger cycle, gain insight and understand the ‘fight or flight’ response that is innate to all of us, discover the reality of anger, utilize tools that are helpful in dealing with anger, and learn those that are detrimental in dealing with anger, master strategies for gaining control of anger in all situations, gain productive ways of “blowing off steam” and reducing stress in our life, and overall learn how to improve life by managing anger and stress in a healthier manner.
